Appleton Lodge Flower Arranging
An afternoon full of flower arranging and smiles at Appleton Lodge care home in Bredbury.
We started off with large piles of several different coloured flowers. Then the ladies picked their favourites and trimmed them to suit their chosen vase.
We managed to put together 9 flower arrangements, 2 of which were for ladies who were roombound due to illnesses & a broken hip. Hopefully the flowers helped improve their day a bit.

To normalise men recieving flowers. A study carried out by the worlds largest flower delivery network Interflora found that 88% of men will never receive flowers in their lifetime.
Care
expand to St Ann's hospice where staff can nominate a particularly lonely or deserving resident.
Grow
To grow the number of our volunteers around the country, to allow our blooms to reach even more people struggling.
